1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo 1993 MR2 Turbo - Rare Gem

1993 Toyota MR2VIN: JT2SW22N5P0079955Listing Date: 2018/11/27
Price: $XX,000.0Mileage: XX1,752Location: Gulf Breeze,FL,USA

1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo, Very Rare Always garaged, adult owned Florida car. This car is a perfect example of one discerning man’s automotive dream. After owning Porsches and a few Ferrari’s the very picky owner discovered MR2’s later in life. He spared no expense in building a true super car. He started with having the engine built to specifications, professionally by Engine Logistics of Texas. Nothing was left out as money was not an issue in his pursuit. Wanting the car to accommodate the custom-built Fiske FM5 wheels, the fenders would need to be altered and it was also decided to customize the side intakes. The car was professionally repainted, not that it was needed, but it gave him something to focus on while he waited for the engine to be complete. After enjoying this ride for around 3,000 miles he unfortunately passed away at which point one of his best friends, my father purchased this car for his MR2 collection. He enjoyed it for a very limited time, maybe another 1,500 miles before he passed. It has been stored in a climate-controlled building with the other MR2’s since his passing two years ago. Some of the work performed includes: Engine: 3SGTE 2.2 Liter Stroker Built by Engine Logics of Texas Blueprinted and Balanced Stock Crankshaft Pauter Connecting Rods CCP Pistons HKS 274/264 Camshafts AEM Adjustable Cam Sprockets Ferra Oversized Valves TRD Valve Springs w/Titanium Retainers HKS Head Gasket Full Race Header 70mm Ford Throttle Body 950cc Injectors Custom Fuel Rail Custom Intake Manifold Supra Fuel Pump w/adj. At this level it would produce 750 WHP. It is currently capable of close to 500WHP on 24 psi of boost on race fuel. Dyno sheets available. If you know what an MR2 is and you have dreamed of owning one of these rare machines, this may be for you, but only if you like attention and performance. There are some minor flaws as it is a car from 1993. The wheels have some slight crazing on clearcoat. I cannot find any real signs of curb rash. The tires are brand new. The paint is better than factory and has a very high gloss as it has not seen much sun. There are no dents I am aware of. The interior is almost perfect, with no tears or rips in the leather. All the power options work as far as I know. I would welcome any inspection before bidding and can help in shipping if needed. We have a few other MR2 show quality cars that we will be selling, but this the monster in the stable. The original owner invested over $40K in this build on top of the car purchase price. Please bid only if you intend to buy so we don’t waste personal time. Thanks for looking and let me know if I can help in any way.

1993 Toyota MR2 GT JDM RHD 1993 Toyota MR2 GT (Turbo) w/ 69k miles

1993 Toyota MR2VIN: 11111111111111111Listing Date: 2018/11/27

Up for sale is my right hand drive Japanese market 1993 Toyota MR2 GT (Turbo) with 111,000 kilometers or 69,000 miles. This car was legally imported from Japan within the past year by Japanese Classics and is legally registered in the state of Virginia with a clear Virginia title. The car is completely stock with no known accidents or issues. The GT is the highest trim available to the Japanese market and was not sold in the United States. Under the hood is the gen 2 3S-GTE 2.0 liter that puts out about 230hp in the jdm model, which is 30hp more than the cars we got in the states. The power is sent to the wheels through a 5 speed manual gearbox which was the only option on this trim. Both the engine and transmission are original and the clutch is in great shape. About 9,000 miles ago the timing belt and water pump were replaced and I have a maintenance book that came along with the car but unfortunately it’s in Japanese. It also has new tires with less than 2,000 miles on them and a new battery. There are no mechanical issues and it runs beautifully. For being a 25 year old car it is in wonderful condition but it does have a few minor cosmetic flaws. As far as the exterior goes, there is a small scratch that is barley noticeable under the passenger side air vent and there is about a two inch scratch in the rear bumper by the license plate. Also, the paint on the roof, hood, engine lid, trunk, and spoiler does have some hard water spots, but they are barely noticeable until you get within a few feet. The paint on the top of the front bumper is also cracking and slightly fading but isn’t horrible. The interior is in great shape but the leather on the left side bolster of the drivers seat is a little cracked but hasn’t ripped. The power antenna has also been broken off but the motor still works. Other than those few cosmetic flaws, there are no other issues with the car. If you would like any other info or have any questions please feel free to message or email me. The pictures turned out to be pretty poor quality once I uploaded them so if you would like better ones just email me. Email: [email protected]
